This week (June 7-14) – Dani Pollock, Lynn Pollock, David Power and Katie O’Neill, will travel to Honduras to pray, play, and live in solidarity with the sisters, elderly and girls in the orphanage in Santa Rosa de Copan.
Before each trip, many hands (and hearts) spend time planning activities, collecting donations, and coordinating gifts for our friends there. This past week, several parishioners gathered to make rosaries to be given as gifts – special thanks to Julie James and Jodie Seitzer for coordinating this activity and to our very own Knights for their generous donations to fund this project. Additionally, Olivia Wieger, a rising sophomore at St. James Academy made 70 rosaries for our project – Thank you for sharing your TIME AND TALENT!
This trip we are bringing dental and medical supplies courtesy of the Shea and Tuttle families – they have contributed for several years and provide items neither home would be able to purchase.
Please pray for the safety of our team as they travel as well as a continued opening of their hearts to serve our friends in Honduras!
