Our send off from KC went without a hitch. We thank John Weist for stopping by last night on his way home from the Royals game to bless our handmade rosaries.

Don Christian met us at the airport with the sad news that Sor Elisa had died early this morning. We were all sad to hear this news as Sor Elisa has been a constant beloved figure at the orphanage for as long as we know. She loved animals and plants and took great care of both, she will be missed.
The girls greeted us with their usual exuberance but there was an under current of sadness with everyone. For this reason, I do not have any pictures of our arrival.
