St. Michael the Archangel Honduras Mission Project

We woke up to fireworks this morning at 4:30. Fireworks are very popular in Honduras when it’s a feast day. We had an awesome time under the Honduras sun riding bikes with the girls, playing tetherball and we held a career fair for the teens.Today was a bittersweet day. Saying good-bye to the elders and the girls was very difficult. The girls planned a very special program for us. They sang and danced and then handed out special gifts for all the members of the team. The girls ended the evening with lots of hugs and tears and we reassured them we would be back.
