St. Michael the Archangel Honduras Mission Project

 

Greetings from your team in Honduras.  Our hearts are full after our first full day in Honduras.  The nuns graciously prepared breakfast for us, then we spent our morning in the elderly home. What beautiful smiles we encountered when we spent time with the elderly painting and playing games.

In the afternoon our team split and some went shopping with the girls that are making their Quincineria, while the rest  played with the girls in the orphanage.  They are on summer break from school right now giving us the opportunity to play games, basketball, and write chalk on the sidewalk. Late in the afternoon we took the younger girls to the city park to play. We all had so much fun!
