St. Michael the Archangel Honduras Mission Project

Last night, many hands made the packing night go swiftly and fairly efficiently! Thank you for your help and for the donations of school supplies, medicine, books and so much more!! A special shoutout to our American Heritage Girls for helping to fund the purchase of books, gifts, school supplies, and an ice cream social in Honduras. Did you know they donate their proceeds from the annual poinsettia sale to our parish mission? Thank you for giving of your hearts to serve the nuns, girls and elderly at our parish mission!

Our team of Cesar Gomez, Jenny Fain, Maria Koch, Jessica Kozel and Jane Rall are ready to greet old friends and make new ones and continue to look for opportunities to walk with those most marginalized in a third world country such as Honduras, the children and the elderly. Join us on our journey by following along with this blog, please pray for the residents at each of the homes in Honduras as well as those we seek to serve in the community!!

Shine your light down on the people in Honduras and let them always feel the warmth of Your love. While they may be lacking in material things, we ask that You bless them with the joy and peace that only You can provide. Guide our thoughts, words and actions as we work together on this mission project so it is Your work and Your purpose we strive to accomplish. May our hearts forever be changed as we witness Your presence and love and may we be inspired by the faith of those we seek to serve in Honduras. We ask this through Christ, Our Lord, Amen.
