After a delicious breakfast and Mass with the Sors at the Hogar De Ancianos we spent time getting to know the elderly. It was fun to paint with them and especially dance with them. Sor Theresa even got in on the act.
We then headed over to the Hogar de Niñas after lunch to have a mini retreat with the youngest girls. Our hope is that they will understand more fully how fearfully and wonderfully they are made.
Some of us headed into town to help the two young girls that are celebrating their quinceañas do a little shopping and have ice cream. What a joy it was to spend a little extra special time with them. They had a fun time and are truly grateful for our gifts.
We returned from town to a pizza party with the girls and of course more dancing. Watching the girls and even Sor Carmen with each other was so heartwarming. It is obvious they love all kinds of music, dancing, and most importantly each other. They really are a family and it feels good to be part of it.
Surely tomorrow will be another full day,
