We woke with the roosters today!
After a nice breakfast with the Sors we headed out to the Corpus Christi procession. The procession went from the Cathedral to the auditorium. There were store fronts that had altars prepared for the Monstrance and Eucharist to pass by. At each place the bishop stopped and placed the monstrance on the makeshift altar and readings were read, prayers were said and singing concluded each adoration site. We ended the procession at the auditorium with Mass and more beautiful music.
Lunch was at Hogar de Ninas and then it was time to help make the pan (bread) for the Feast of St. Anthony, the Ninas (girls) were much better than we were!
We had another nonstop day and finished it off by hosting a reunion for the alumni.
As we met with the girls who have graduated from the Girl’s Home there were many hugs, some tears, nonstop conversations and my personal favorite, showing them pictures from over the years. They’ve all grown up! I haven’t been to Honduras since before covid and it was such a joy to see them again!
Buenos Noches!
