Friday was a day of many emotions as we prepared for our early departure tomorrow. The Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus was sprinkled throughout the day. The morning began with a beautiful Mass at the elderly home. At lunch we were serenaded by the Sors and girls from the elderly home, gifts were exchanged and then the tearful good byes began.
The afternoon was spent with the Ninas as they got a lesson in Pickle Ball from Christopher and then it was time for a little coffee with the Sors, a little more laughter, exchange of gifts and more tearful good byes.
Lastly, it was time to say adios to the Ninas. We celebrated with pizza and they performed for the group. It is hard to believe will be on the road home in the morning. Please keep all the Sors, Ninas and the travel team in your prayers.
