Hola from Honduras!
Travel day is always a day of trepidation and excitement. As our small and mighty group left KC, the trepidation was immediately gone and the excitement and anticipation of the day took over. Our morning reflection focused on fortitude, perseverance and patience which was a perfect start for the day ahead of us.
We were warmly greeted at the airport in Honduras by the head sister of each of the houses and then headed up the mountain.
We arrived early evening to an even warmer welcome of music, songs, cheers and hugs. Old acquaintances and new amigos filled the air.
The joy and love for the people of St. Michael is truly evident in their daily prayers and actions.
The team although exhausted can hardly wait for what the rest of the week will entail. We are truly blessed!
