Happy Friday!!
We started the day with a wonderful breakfast provided by the Sors, and lots of coffee! After breakfast we completed our group reflection lead by Dani. Our group reflection is such a great way to start the day keeping our focus on God.
Dani and Jessica met with Sor Antonia, John, Michelle and Jill spent one on one time with the elderly while Lynn and Alyson got the luggage and supplies organized for the day. After that we all went to mass with the Sors and elderly. What a beautiful time to spend with everyone.
After Mass we had more time with the elderly – working on puzzles, nails, doing hair, chatting and listening to music. It has been unseasonably chilly the past couple of days so many of the Elderly stayed in their room.

We had an AMAZING lunch provided by the Sors – everyone LOVED the fried fish and french fires. We are so Thankful for the their hospitality. I have been very blessed by their kindness as they have made many special plates gluten free just for me! I have been so grateful to eat wonderful meals made with love!!
After lunch we headed over to see the ninas. We set up a boutique for the girls to shop. We had tables filled with books, lotion, hair accessories, candy, bubbles and stuffies. I think all the girls enjoyed finding their own treasures and we enjoyed seeing their smiles. Dani and Jessica met with Sor Daisy and we had visitors from a local Mission group of women that teach the girls to make candles.
It is a cooler day today with lots of rain. The girls played with their treasures and a have been reading their books for Battle of the books coming up on Sunday. We enjoyed saying the Rosary together and ended our evening with dinner with the Sors.
We ended our night by each of us sharing the highlight of the day and a moment where we saw God. This time really brings our team together and sparks meaningful conversations.
Another amazingly special day in Honduras. Alyson
