We began our day as usual having breakfast with the Sors at the Hogar de Ancianos. We spent some time visiting with the elderly and we interviewed a few of them to learn more about them. They told us their amazing story. Then we had mass with the elderly and Sors followed by more coffee and cinnamon rolls.

After that, we walked to the high school where Sor Mayra gave us a tour. Several of the Ninas attend this school. After lunch at the Hogar de Ancianos, we had an adoration hour with the elderly. They were so attentive and reverent to the exposed Eucharist.Following adoration, we treated the residents, Sors and Hovianas to cake for our 20 year anniversary with them. We gave the Sors a plaque and each resident a gift of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. We danced and laughed and had so much fun!

Next up, we went to the Hogar de Ninas where Padre Brian shared his vocation story and gave a talk on forgiveness. The girls laughed when he told them he had been engaged but then broke it off. The girls then completed their pen pal forms and we got updated pictures of each of them and gave each of them a small gift.
The Ninas then gave us a beautiful performance-lots of dancing. The Sors tell us that the visits from St. Michael bring so much hope to the residents of both the Hogar de Ancianos and the Hogar de Ninas. Our friendship with them is invaluable. We are united as one through the power of the Holy Spirit.
