St. Michael the Archangel Honduras Mission Project

Many hands made light work of putting 1160 lbs. of donations, gifts and supplies into 20 pieces of luggage this past Monday evening. This included: socks, undergarments, medicine, SCHOOL SUPPLIES, backpacks, playground balls, craft items, some clothing and more!! Thank you especially to our parish Religious Education program for collecting school supplies for the new school year beginning in February.

Please pray for our team traveling to Honduras Jan. 9-15: Darrin Andersen, Jill Andersen, Lisa Berry, Nate Davis, Jenny Fain, Mary Fain, Linda Hopfinger, Mike Pollock, Magda Snyder and Diane Williams.

Shine your light down on the people in Honduras and let them always feel the warmth of Your love. While they may be lacking in material things, we ask that You bless them with the joy and peace that only You can provide. Guide our thoughts, words and actions as we work together on this mission project so it is Your work and Your purpose we strive to accomplish. May our hearts forever be changed as we witness Your presence and love and may we be inspired by the faith of those we seek to serve in Honduras. We ask this through Christ, Our Lord, Amen.
