What a fantastic day of many blessings! We left St. Michael’s at 3:30 am. Our air travel went off without any delays or hiccups.
When we landed in Honduras, there was a light rain but you could see how beautiful the country side was going to be. The nuns arrived to greet us with balloons and a hand made welcome sign. They and our drivers were so helpful and got us and our 14 suitcases of donations plus our personal luggage safely to our destination in Santa Rosa de Copàn. It was late in the evening but our adventure for the day had just begun.
The highlight was being welcomed by the Niñas in the orphanage where they preformed a special dance for us and we shared a delicious dinner. It was a delight for some of us to be reacquainted with some familiar faces and a joy for us to all meet so many new girls. They truly seemed as excited to see us as we were to see them. What a blessing!
