St. Michael the Archangel Honduras Mission Project

Monday evening, energy and excitement filled the St. Uriel/Gabriel rooms as parishioners of all ages helped to prepare and pack for the mission trip Jan. 10-17. Over the last several months, we have been busy collecting items ranging from backpacks to vitamins. All of the donations, small gifts as well as materials the team will use for activities while in Honduras are sorted, grouped, packed and weighed. Many hands helped to make the work go so quickly! Please pray for those we seek to serve in Honduras, the girls, nuns and elderly along with our team of: Jenny Fain, Maria Koch, Mike Pollock, Christina Prothe, Diane Williams, Charles Winters, and Jill Winters.

Shine your light down on the people in Honduras and let them always feel the warmth of Your love. While they may be lacking in material things, we ask that You bless them with the joy and peace that only You can provide. Guide our thoughts, words and actions as we work together on this mission project so it is Your work and Your purpose we strive to accomplish. May our hearts forever be changed as we witness Your presence and love and may we be inspired by the faith of those we seek to serve in Honduras. We ask this through Christ, Our Lord, Amen.
