As I reflect on seeing our familia in Honduras for the first time in nearly 2 1/2 years, how quickly I am drawn to the joy, blessings and the need for being truly present with those we serve. The love the girls, the elderly and nuns share with us at SMA and each other is a wonderful example of the greatest commandment “Love One Another,”
We start each day with a daily reflection. Today we were asked to focus on our encounter with others. No doubt we would have endless opportunities.
From our business meeting at the elderly home, to the birthday party we had for the elderly, to meeting people in the community, to distributing gifts and books to the girls at the orphanage and the meals we share with the nuns, joy and blessings are ever present.
Thank you SMA for making an impact on their lives as I thank them for them for them impact they have made on mine. Enjoy the pictures.

It’s wonderful to see so many familiar faces ❤️
Is that Gracia Maria with the sunflower blanket?? If so wow! I remember when she was a toddler! If not, don’t you think it looks like her? 😂
Remember to give them all big hugs from me!
